We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Inspector to inspect and evaluate the condition of different types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles. The Vehicle Inspector will be responsible for identifying and reporting any mechanical or safety issues to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Vehicle Inspector Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
- Identify and report any defects or issues related to mechanical, electrical, or safety components of the vehicle
- Test drive vehicles to assess their performance, handling, and functionality
- Record and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation
- Review and evaluate inspection reports submitted by other inspectors or technicians
- Collaborate with other team members to determine the appropriate repair or maintenance needs for vehicles
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Vehicle Inspector Requirements and skills
- At least 2 years of experience in vehicle inspection or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, components, and technologies
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time, as well as lift and carry heavy objects
